Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has challenged his colleague, Burna Boy, to a boxing match, boasting that he would defeat the Grammy-winning artiste in the ring.
Speed Darlington made the challenge during a recent interview with Hip TV, where he said he was willing to stake a huge sum of money for the proposed fight.
“I challenge Burna Boy to fight me. I will drop a huge sum just to fight him. I want to fight him. I will beat him. He’s all hype. He can’t beat me. Just because some people like his music doesn’t mean he can beat me. I am challenging him,” he said.
The latest challenge comes amid the long-running tension between the two artistes.
Speed Darlington previously made comments about Burna Boy and his relationship with embattled American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, allegations that contributed to a legal dispute between the two Nigerian artistes.
The feud also resurfaced in April when Portable claimed that Burna Boy gave him ₦20 million after he defeated Speed Darlington in a boxing match.
Speed Darlington has now renewed his challenge, insisting that Burna Boy would not be able to defeat him in a physical contest.
